Enough about me - meet the fantastic Musicians I play with: Naomi,  Anna and Chris

 

NAOMI WATSON - Violinist

Naomi is a postgraduate student at the Royal College of Music, and has performed concertos with the Oxford Millenium Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, Edinburgh Festival Orchestra, and Grampian Concert Orchestra. 

As an undergraduate she led the Oxford University Orchestra, won the Anna Haxworth prize for instrumental performance, and performed in a masterclass with Maxim Vengerov. As an orchestral player, she has performed with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra. 

ANNA BRIGHAM - Violist

Anna Brigham is a versatile and committed chamber musician; as the violist of the Florian Quartet and violinist in the Phantasy Duo she has performed at Prussia Cove, Kings Place and St Martin in the Fields. She been a guest with the Dante Quartet, and collaborated with ensembles in Sweden, Belgium and France.

After completing an music degree at the University of Birmingham Anna went on to study at the RNCM in Manchester, where she obtained a Masters degree with distinction.

 

 

 

ANNA continued

She has worked with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Opera North, and regularly plays with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London.  Anna's freelance career also encompasses playing with a folk band, shows with Michael Bublé, several concerto appearances and projects with Kaleidoscope; a dubstep orchestra. She is also heavily involved with musical outreach and Live Music Now scheme, has led many sessions in special schools, a residency in a school for children who have been expelled, and concerts for people with Althzeimer's. 

CHRIS TEREPIN - Cellist

Chris read music at Magdalen College, Oxford and studied with Laurence Dreyfus, Raphael Wallfisch and Philip Higham. He has benefitted from instrumental masterclasses with Steven Isserlis and Ralph Kirshbaum, and received valuable input from James Boyd, Peter Cropper and other established chamber musicians. 

Concerto performances include those by Finzi, Dvorak, Haydn, Saint-Saens and Elgar. Recently Chris has recorded a cello sonata by Michael Parkin for Prima Facie records (with pianist Craig Greene), and performed Nystedt's Stabat Mater with Bath Choral Society.  

Chris gives regular duo concerts with violinist and viola player Anna Brigham, and as a guest viol player with consort Phantasm.

Chris is based in Manchester, and combines a busy performance schedule with PhD research at King’s College London.
